HUECK Lambda 77 L Door - efficiently thermally insulated Aluminium exterior doors
Efficiently thermally insulated door construction, compatible with the series 77 L and XL of the modular system Lambda. The insulating zone with profile depth of 30 mm consists of glass fibre-reinforced polyamide 6.6 strips, heat-resistant up to 180°C. Factory-mounted shear-proof compound with system warranty, suitable for subsequent powder coating and anodisation and designed for post sliding in of insulating cores. In the sash profiles Delta-T-insulation strip connection for reduction of the bi-metal-effect, therefore less deflection of the sash due to temperature differences.
Profile depth of frames and sashes 77 mm, flush on the inside and outside. Can be combined with window profiles of series Lambda 77 L or Lambda 77 XL. Threshold construction optionally with or without limit stop.
EPDM rebate gaskets located on both sides in the leaf and fixed frame limit stop. Sash- and fixed-frame rebate designed for post gluing of the EPDM-rebate gaskets. Internal and external glazing gasket made of EPDM with narrow elevation width, continuous in the corners, with horizontal butt joint and gluing at the top. Double EPDM threshold gasket, optionally in limit stop and/or dragging design.
A groove of 25 mm minimum in the blind frame ensures a solid fixing possibility of hardware and frame dowels. Glazing beads to clip in as closed hollow profiles. If required an additional insulation wedge at the glazing bead for optimising the U-values can be used.
Rebate chamber drainage of side lights via slots and snap-in drain caps (PVC or aluminium)
Mitre joints with corner brackets in outer and inner shells, optionally as crimped/glued or wedged/glued joints. Corner strengthening piece for leaf stops. Transom connections with internal and external t-brackets.
Thermal insulation: Uf depending on profile geometry, accessories and coating procedure up to 1.6 W/m²K
Water tightness: Up to class 8A according to EN 12208
Air permeability: Class 3 according to EN 12207
Resistance to wind load: up to class C3/B3 according to EN 12210
Burglar resistance: up to class RC3 in accordance with EN 1627
